Before the plasterboard goes on, someone has to decide where every circuit runs. Electrical rough-in sits on the critical path: it has to be complete and correct before lining, and anything missed becomes a wall that gets opened again. We work off the drawings, coordinate our runs against the other trades before they are in the way, and finish the stage when the programme says the stage finishes. Rough-in, switchboard, fit-off and final commissioning, under one contract.
