Australia has added solar and batteries quickly, and most of the market has stayed focused on selling and installing equipment. For a commercial or industrial site, installation is only the first step.

The financial result is decided after commissioning.

A battery has to respond to the site's changing load, its tariff, demand charges and operating hours. Its charging strategy may also need to follow the weather, energy prices and opportunities in the electricity market.

Without active energy management, even a properly designed system may not achieve its full financial potential. This agreement exists to close that gap.
