Commercial and industrial solar

An array sized against your interval data and your tariff, designed, installed and commissioned by the same team, under one contract.

Residential quote Commercial quote 1300 152 966

An electrician in a high-visibility vest working at the edge of a large rooftop solar array on a factory roof, roof plant behind.
The problem

Most commercial solar is quoted from roof area. That answers how many panels fit, not which of them will ever pay for themselves.

Arrays designed from your interval data and tariff rather than from available roof area. We handle the structural checks, the network application, the installation and the commissioning with our own crews, so the scope does not change hands halfway through.

What the scope covers.

01

Rooftop, ground-mount and carpark arrays

The mounting follows the site. Roofs that can carry the load take it, and carparks or open ground take the rest.

02

Structural checks and network application

The roof is checked structurally before a panel is specified, and the connection application goes to the network before hardware is ordered.

03

Installation and commissioning by in-house crews

The crew that installs the array commissions it, and the shutdown window is agreed in writing first.

04

Sized from interval data and tariff

Your interval data shows when the site draws power. The array is sized to cover that, not to fill the roof.

What it usually looks like

Typical range on a commercial site.

Indicative ranges. Your own interval data and tariff set the real figures at the visit.

Typical range on a commercial site

30 – 200kW System size we usually land on
30 – 60% Share of the daytime bill displaced
4 – 7yrs Simple payback
20 – 25yrs Design life of the array

Indicative ranges for scoping only, not measurements from a specific job.

On a real job: A 59.4 kW array built into a high-rise

How it runs, start to finish.

01

Read the load

Your interval data and tariff show when the site draws power and what each kilowatt hour costs at that hour.

02

Size the array

Panels and inverters are sized to the daytime load and the network's export limit, not to the roof area.

03

Clear the network

Structural checks and the connection application are complete before any hardware is ordered.

04

Switch it on

The crew that installed the array commissions it, hands over the documents, and monitoring starts the same day.

Why one contractor holds the whole scope

Before you ask us.

How do you size a commercial solar system?

From your interval data and your tariff. The array covers what the site uses during the day, within the network's export limit. Roof area only sets the ceiling.

Does commercial solar need network approval?

Larger systems need a connection application to your network, and some are given an export limit. We lodge the application and design to what the network approves.

What if the roof cannot carry an array?

Then a carport or ground-mount frame often can. The structural check comes first and tells you which.

Send us the interval data.

We come back with an array sized to it, a fixed price, and the assumptions written beside it.
